When using stainless steel fasteners, it frequently happens that inner and outer threads become stuck together and the fastener cannot be unscrewed. You can counter this with a paste, but that requires extra time and parts. That's why Fabory developed LUBRINOX®, a series of stainless steel fasteners with a special coating that provides durable lubrication in the threaded connection. Pre-lubricated bolts, screws and nuts
Lubrinox was tested by Geelen Counterflow. Due to intensive use of stainless steel fasteners, the company was looking for a cost-saving alternative to bolt-on lubrication.
René Derckx, technical buyer at Geelen Counterflow: "We were curious whether the solution devised by Fabory would also meet our requirements. The most important starting point was that screw threads don't get stuck. You don't want to have to cut or drill out a screw."
Another coating used by employees on the shop floor of Geelen Counterflow is a lot thicker. Fabory's LUBRINOX fasteners don't need such a thick coating. That makes assembly a lot easier![/column_text][column_text]
