Teqnow and ESEF Maakindustrie 2024 help you on your way to smart manufacturing
The Maakindustrie Future Arena at ESEF Maakindustrie 2024 in combination with three different Guided Tours offers visitors insight into smart manufacturing and improving business processes with data. The Guided Tours are each preceded by an introduction by Paul d'Hond, program manager Teqnow at Koninklijke Metaalunie.
Rabobank recently pointed out: the competitive position of the Dutch manufacturing industry is coming under pressure because of the aging population. Especially in the high-tech industry, the shortage of technical professionals is a growing problem that is affecting the sector. Smarter production and improving processes with data are two solutions that manufacturing companies can use to address this problem.
Teqnow presentation and Guided Tours mainly offer practical tools
During ESEF Maakindustrie 2024 in Utrecht, three different Guided Tours are scheduled to inform manufacturing companies about innovations in the field of smarter production and data use, as well as show practical examples from exhibitors at the fair. The first Guided Tour - A good start is half the battle - is intended for work planners and managers. The main issue here is how to start improving processes. The second Guided Tour - Smart and manageable production - is also aimed at this target group. It covers aspects such as pre-setting, quality control, intermediate storage, transport and how to effectively manage these steps in the process to achieve a manageable and reproducible process. As with the first Guided Tour, participants will visit a number of practical examples on the exhibition floor after Paul d'Hond's presentation.

Using data for process improvement
The third Guided Tour is specifically geared toward directors and executives of SME nerds. Improving Your Business Process with Data revolves around how to collect and analyze the right data to inform process improvement steps. With data, companies are taking the next step towards smart industry. This Guided Tour is also mainly about practically useful information, which is not only covered by Paul d'Hond in his presentation but also by the exhibitors on the exhibition floor.
All three Guided Tours start in the Make Industry Future Arena at ESEF. KIik here for details on the times. And via this link you can register for free admission to ESEF Maakindustrie 2024.
